In compliance with the Ministerial Decree of September 1, 2021, commanding a motorboat requires mandatory prior instruction, which we have elevated to a professional standard.

Our certified briefing system is the most comprehensive in the area: you will receive a dedicated video and the exclusive Ares Turismo App to have all information always at your fingertips. But it doesn’t end there: before departure, a dedicated instructor will be available to physically teach you how to steer the vessel, manage mooring maneuvers, and answer any questions you may have. We will not let you set sail until you feel perfectly safe and comfortable at the helm of your boat in the Coral Riviera.

Safety is our absolute priority in Alghero. In the event of adverse weather conditions that compromise navigation, we will postpone the reservation free of charge or refund the full cost of your boat rental or excursion. We apply meteorological risk assessment standards derived from our aeronautical training, guaranteeing you a trip to sea only in conditions of total safety.

It depends on the type of service chosen. Here are the details to help you plan your expenses:

⛵ For the Boat Excursion:

• All-Inclusive Formula: The cost of fuel is entirely included in the ticket price. You will not incur any additional costs during the day.
• Green Tip: We recommend bringing a water bottle: we will be happy to refill it for you to ensure fresh water is always available, reducing the environmental impact of single-use plastics.

⚓ For Boat Rental:

• Fuel excluded: Gasoline is not included in the rental rate. You will receive the vessel with a full tank and, upon return to the Port of Alghero, you will pay only for the actual consumption.
• Cost estimate: For a typical day, the average consumption is approximately 25 liters (half a tank), for an estimated expenditure of about €50. Currently, the price of nautical fuel is around €2.00 per liter.

Absolutely! During our boat excursions in Alghero, guest care is very important. We are happy to prepare a personalized lunch that respects your dietary choices or needs (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free options, or specific allergies), ensuring the highest quality of products from Sardinia. We only ask that you inform Ares Turismo at the time of booking or at least 48 hours before the departure date. You will find the same attention to detail that we dedicate to the safety of our navigation in the Coral Riviera in our on-board catering service as well.

🚐 For the Land Tour by Van:

• Footwear: Comfortable shoes or sneakers (some walking is required to reach the panoramic viewpoints).
• Protection and Hydration: Hat, sunglasses, and a small bottle of water.

⛵ For the Boat Excursion:

• Essentials: Towel, sunscreen, and swimwear.
• Well-being: Motion sickness medication (such as Xamamina) if you suffer from seasickness, and rubber water shoes.

⚓ For Boat Rental:

• Documents and Safety: A valid ID and a charged phone (essential for communication with the base).
• Extras: Cash for fuel (average cost approximately €50).

Absolutely yes, your four-legged friends are welcome at Ares Turismo! However, we have established different rules to ensure everyone’s comfort and the protection of the fleet:

⚓ For Boat Rental:

• Permitted vessels: Dogs are allowed exclusively on boats (not on dinghies).
• Protection: We kindly ask you to trim your dog’s nails before the trip and to bring additional towels to cover and protect the cushions.
• Space management: To limit damage, removable parts of the cushions will be taken off the boat, unless you explicitly request otherwise (with the relative assumption of responsibility).
• Well-being: Don’t forget to bring plenty of fresh water for them too!

⛵ For the Boat Excursion:

• Seat Reservation: It is possible to bring small or medium-sized dogs with a docile temperament. It is mandatory to book the free spot for the dog: this allows us to never have two dogs on board that do not know each other, ensuring the peace of mind of all passengers.
• Responsibility: The conduct and safety of the animal always remain the responsibility of the owner.

Certainly! To officially confirm the reservation and block the date of your outing, a 20% deposit is required. The remaining part of the fee can be conveniently settled on the day of boarding at our desk, either in cash or by credit or debit card. This management allows us to guarantee maximum punctuality and the certainty that your boat rental and excursion are ready to welcome you in the best possible way.

Your safety is managed with aeronautical precision protocols. All our staff is qualified and certified by the BLSD Academy in first aid, traumatology, and BLSD procedures (cardiopulmonary resuscitation with a defibrillator).

While navigating in the Gulf of Alghero, you will always be protected by a rapid assistance network:

• Ares Rapid Intervention: We have a private jet ski ready to reach you in just a few minutes at any point along the coast.
• Institutional Support: Our operational area is within the range of the helicopter rescue service, and the Coast Guard’s CP800 patrol boat is less than 15 minutes away from any point of the excursion.
• Ares Turismo App: Within our application, you will have immediate access to two dedicated numbers: the Port Authority for emergencies and our internal assistance line for any technical or informational needs, active all day.
